Your text

When you click Humanize, your text is sent over HTTPS to our serverless function, forwarded once to the AI model that performs the rewrite (via Groq), and the result is returned to you. The text lives in memory only for the duration of that single request. We do not store it in any database, write it to any file, include it in any log line, or send it to any third party other than that one model call. There is no database in this product at all.

Your history

The "Recent humanizations" list is saved in your browser's localStorage, on your device, and nowhere else. Clearing it (with the button on the page or via your browser settings) removes it permanently. We have no copy.

What we do process

Usage limits. Your daily use count is kept in your browser's localStorage. Our server also keeps a short-lived, in-memory per-IP counter to enforce fair limits; it holds no text and resets when the serverless instance recycles.
Server logs. Our functions log only operational facts — which model served a request and whether it succeeded. Never any text you submit.
Pro activation. If you activate Pro, a signed token derived from your access code is stored in your browser's localStorage so we can recognize your tier. It contains no personal information.
Hosting. The site runs on Vercel, which processes IP addresses as part of normal request handling, as any web host does.

What we don't do

No analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no advertising, no ad networks.
No cookies. Everything client-side uses localStorage on your own device.
No accounts, so there's no profile of you to keep.
No selling, sharing, or "anonymized" repurposing of anything you write.

Payments

Pro payments happen entirely on PayPal's site. We never see your card or bank details. What we learn from a payment is what PayPal shows any recipient: your name and email, which we use once to send your access code and for nothing else.

Third parties

Two providers are involved in running the service: Vercel (hosting) and Groq (running the single model call that rewrites your text). Your text passes to Groq for the rewrite and is subject to their processing terms during that request. We chose not to add any others.
